Kingpin is a game about crime syndicates vying for control of a city.
You play a crime boss controlling a group of lieutenants to shake down businesses, sell drugs, strong-arm opponents and stay out of the watchful eye of the police. Your goal is to kill the competition, control the city or get rich.
2-4 Players, 45-90 Minutes
Stay Away from the Cops
Every action has a reaction. Players incur Heat with each action they take, rolling dice at the end of their turn to determine if they've dealt a masterstroke or over-reached.
Build an Empire
Players recruit a Kingpin and their stable of Lieutenants to take strategic control of locations on the game board. Locations unlock abilities and resources they use to amass wealth, control the city, or destroy their rivals.
Dark Pasts and Secret Motivations
Players begin the game with secret objectives that help and hinder them in their race to take control of the city.
Your arsenal of tactics include Robbery, Assault, Drug Trafficking, Bribery and Racketeering.

Juan “Santo” Ramos
Juan was christened Santo after a baptism of blood. Starting out as a low-level thug in a no-name gang, Santo went on a brutal killing spree, taking out lieutenants and bosses, one after another until no one was left standing. The beleaguered citizens of the crime-ridden city slums whispered “Santo” under their breaths as they watched him walk blood covered through the streets in the aftermath. Their children would use that name as a curse, after he began his own reign of terror over their neighborhood.
Abilities: +$10K from each Business.
Donny doesn’t love the violence and crime, but he sure does love the money and drugs. Son of a car dealer, he inherited a small fortune at 19, but proceeded to piss it all down the drain as he fell into a vortex of hookers, gambling and anything he could smoke, snort or inject. He turned to crime to feed the monkey on his back, but now he’s careful to keep his habits low-key in week-long binges every few months huddled in his apartment.
Abilities: Roll 1 die, on 1 lose 1 drug and 1 action that turn.
Marcy used to work the overnight shift at the downtown hospital, but things changed when her mother got Alzheimer’s and a thug she’d treated at the hospital showed up at her house with a GSW and a fist full of bloody cash. Finally able to cover her second mortgage and the late payment to her mother’s assisted living up-state, she quit the hospital and went freelance. No questions asked, only cash accepted.
Abilities: Starts the game with 3 Aid tokens. May use an Aid token to prevent one rank loss or heat effect.
